The most sought-after, top circulated fortnightly magazine in the Sultanate of Oman, Al Nahda Magazine, has very high circulation in and out of Oman, and is read and appreciated by people from all walks of life because of its informative and educative articles.

Al Nahda Magazine was founded in 1973 by the late Sheikh Talib Said Mawali, and was one of the leading magazines that carried the flag of the media in the Sultanate of Oman. It has contributed to the spread of awareness and knowledge among the citizens in various parts of the country. It didn’t stop at the borders of the Sultanate, and reached many Arab countries, giving the opportunity to launch a number of Omani journalists and authors. Also, it has contributed to the enrichment of cultural life, literary and intellectualism in the country, focussed on covering all stages of development and progress in the Sultanate of Oman.

Characterised by the diversity of articles written, in terms of politics, literature, art, culture and thought, heritage and sport, it was one of the first publications which acquired its own printing press, and has evolved to become an integrated institution in the press.
